Overview:

Uberrito Fresh Mex is a fast-casual Mexican dining spot serving burritos, tacos, and bowls. The design objective was to create an interior that reflects freshness and a vibrant atmosphere, matching the restaurant’s menu. Greens and natural wood tones were used to emphasize a healthy feel and connect with the overall brand identity.

Design and Implementation:

Layout/Structural Changes:
Seating and circulation were arranged so that tables extend onto walls, forming a unique display feature. This approach brings a branding element into the dining area and draws attention to the restaurant’s visuals.
Materials and Finishes:
- Natural wood surfaces to reinforce a warm and organic ambiance.
- Green booth fabric and custom upholstery connecting the interior to the brand’s color scheme.
- Grass walls and large circular storage units at the front to underline a fresh concept and store fruit.
Key Elements:
- Custom signage that casts interesting shadows on the walls.
- Digital menu boards for clear ordering and modern flair.
- A simple lighting plan featuring white downlights to keep the ceiling uncluttered.
- Custom murals placed throughout the space to connect with the healthy dining theme.

Challenges:

Aligning multiple custom elements, such as booth fabrics and wall-mounted tables, required careful coordination among various vendors. Consistent application of color, materials, and signage across different surfaces was essential to maintain the fresh and energetic atmosphere.

Outcome:

The completed restaurant interior reflects a strong focus on fresh dining. Natural textures, cohesive branding, and thoughtful use of color work together to create a bright setting that complements the menu.
